A few minutes away from Grund, Pulvermühle is a great area to escape from the city’s traffic and noise. Cyclists, hikers and runners alike can enjoy there beautiful paths, outstanding rock formations and lush vegetation.
DEPARTURE: at 19h00 from PIRATE SHIP in the city park, at the intersection between Boulevard du Prince Henri and Avenue Monterey. Please be there on time.
ROUTE: We will cycle down to Petrusse Valley (steep! – check your brakes). Next, we’ll head towards Pulvermühle, on the asphalt (car-free) road along the Alzette River. The last 1.5 km stretch will take us on a forest path. Alternatively, you can continue on the parallel asphalt road. Finally, we will reach the water mill where we will turn back home.
LENGTH: around 35 minutes to reach the destination (7 km).
TYPE OF BICYCLE: any bike with good brakes, Velo’h will do as well.
EQUIPMENT: working brakes.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: easy.
